I decided to volunteer for Hugh’s campaign because I believe he truly cares about the people in our community. When Hugh talks about affordability and healthcare, it’s obvious he understands what families are up against — and he wants to help.

On leadership

What I respect most about Hugh is that he’s focused on real solutions, not partisan politics. He listens, he stays calm under pressure, and he’s especially strong at resolving conflict. That kind of leadership is exactly what we need in Harrisburg.

On agriculture

Hugh understands that agriculture isn’t just an industry — it’s our way of life. He respects our farmers and knows that protecting farmland means protecting our future.

On our schools

Hugh believes every child deserves a strong public education, regardless of their ZIP code. Supporting our schools means supporting our teachers, students, and the future of our community.

On working families

Hugh talks about creating opportunity, not politics. He understands working families because he’s spent his life working alongside them.

A neighbor first

What impresses me most is that Hugh listens. He wants to hear from everyone, whether they agree with him or not. Politics needs more neighbors and fewer politicians — and Hugh has always been a neighbor first.
